From the Familia Torres Foundation, we participated for the second year in Wine & Jazz, an event organized by communicator Gloria Vall\u00e8s to raise funds for biomedical research on endometriosis. The event took place on June 26 at the Gran Hotel Central in Barcelona, with the attendance of around a hundred people, and featured the altruistic participation of wine projects led by women. In our case, we presented 4 wines from Jean Leon and Familia Torres: Jean Leon 3055 Chardonnay, Jean Leon Vinya Le Havre, Vi\u00f1a Esmeralda, and Secrets del Priorat.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of the event, Gloria Vall\u00e8s \u2013 who suffers from this condition \u2013 and Dr. Carmona, a global reference in gynecology and an endometriosis specialist, explained what endometriosis is (a silent disease that affects 10% of women and has no cure) and how research is progressing. It was a heartfelt event, enlivened by live jazz music.
