The imaging Diagnostic Service of the Regional Hospital of Alt Pened\u00e8s (CSAP) has launched a new high quality ultrasound system that has been donated by the Torres Family Foundation.<\/p>\n
This donation aims to support initiatives to improve access to essential services and to ensure social integration and personal development of the most vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n
Mireia Torres, president of the Torres Family Foundation, was in charge of inaugurating the device at an event held at the Alt Pened\u00e8s Hospital together with Mr. Joan Puigdollers, president of the Alt Pened\u00e8s Health Consortium, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Luis Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, manager of the health service entity, and Dr. Merche Rodriguez, head of the Diagnostic imaging Service of CSAP.<\/p>\n
The main feature of the new ultrasound is that it has a high resolution image. This allows greater precision in diagnosis.<\/p>\n
The high quality of the images obtained also makes scan times shorter. This is essential when diagnosing children and patients who may find it uncomfortable when it comes to undergoing a medical test.<\/p>\n
The inclusion of this ultrasound machine, thanks to the collaboration of the Torres Family Foundation, represents an advance in the Imaging Diagnostic Service, which works every day to provide the best care to patients in the region.<\/p>\n
