Torres laid the first stone on December 6th, the new shelter was inaugurated for 64 girls from the Casa Hogar Alegr\u00eda, NGO, which is located in Guadalajara, Mexico, and in which the Torres Family Foundation has collaborated.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Casa Hogar Alegr\u00eda is a non-profit association founded by three friends in 1997, aware of the huge needs of children, in particular vulnerable girls on the streets of Mexico. Its purpose is to transform the lives of girls in vulnerable situations who lack family care and to provide them with comprehensive training to ensure social and workplace integration in the future. These girls became pregnant through violence, abuse and sexual exploitation, or through abuse within their own family.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The \"Casa Terra dos Homens\" project serves some 4,000 families in one of the favelas around Rio de Janeiro, providing them with a shelter for children without families and a centre for community activities as well as pedagogical and training support.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Finally, the \"Casa Arte de Educar\", located in another of these favelas around Rio de Janeiro, which is a civic centre focused on childhood
