Gr\u00e0cies a la donaci\u00f3 realitzada per l&#8217;entitat, aquest any 8 nens i nenes de l&#8217;\u00e0rea de traumatologia dels hospitals Vall d&#8217;Hebron i Sant Joan de D\u00e9u a Barcelona, i de l&#8217;Hospital Ni\u00f1o Jes\u00fas a Madrid, han pogut gaudir, juntament amb els seus familiars, d&#8217;una setmana inoblidable a PortAventura a mitjans de maig, abans de reprendre els seus tractaments m\u00e8dics.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, gr\u00e0cies a la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 d&#8217;un grup de voluntaris del celler, aquestes fam\u00edlies han pogut participar en tallers creatius, confeccionant, a partir de taps de suro i altres materials, porta espelmes, pintures de ra\u00efms o penjolls per a motxilles.\u00a0<strong>Mireia Torres<\/strong>, presidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3 Fam\u00edlia Torres, i\u00a0<strong>Ramon Marsal<\/strong>, president de la Fundaci\u00f3 PortAventura, han estat els amfitrions d&#8217;aquesta entranyable activitat, impregnada d&#8217;alegria i companyonia, celebrada el passat 20 de maig.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abEns sentim molt orgullosos d&#8217;haver format part, una vegada m\u00e9s, d&#8217;aquest gran projecte que \u00e9s Dreams Village. Estem profundament agra\u00efts a tots els col\u00b7laboradors del nostre equip que han entregat el seu temps i il\u00b7lusi\u00f3. Iniciatives com aquesta reflecteixen els nostres valors i contribueixen a construir un m\u00f3n millor,\u00bb\u00a0<\/em>comenta Mireia Torres.<\/p>\n<p>En els \u00faltims 10 anys, la Fundaci\u00f3 Fam\u00edlia Torres ha donat m\u00e9s de tres milions d&#8217;euros a projectes socials, i en especial a aquells centrats a ajudar la inf\u00e0ncia. Al desembre de 2024, l&#8217;entitat va realitzar una donaci\u00f3 econ\u00f2mica de 10.000\u20ac a la Federaci\u00f3 Empresarial d&#8217;Hostaleria de Val\u00e8ncia (FEHV) per a ajudar als hostalers afectats per la DANA.<\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3 Fam\u00edlia Torres la va crear el 1986 Miguel Torres Carb\u00f3, membre de la tercera generaci\u00f3, i la seva esposa Margarita Riera. Des d&#8217;aleshores ha col\u00b7laborat en m\u00e9s de 400 projectes de cooperaci\u00f3 a 12 pa\u00efsos, impulsats per organitzacions p\u00fabliques i privades.
